The 2006 British Esperanto Congress and EAB Annual General Meeting is at Green Gables Hotel, Scarborough. Our international guest lecturer is Atilio Rojas, Director of the
Internacia Esperanto-Instituto in Den Haag. An important item in the program will be the presentation of Springboard, but other items will amuse, entertain, inform and relax you - and don't forget that hotel guests can enjoy its swimming pool.

Our meeting rooms in the Green Gables Hotel will be available from 17:00 on Friday; the congress reception desk will also open at that time. People arriving early will be able to wait in the hotel lobby. (Those who have booked overnight accommodation in the same hotel will supposedly register themselves immedately on arrival and can go into their own bedrooms straight away). The buffet meal starts at 19:30, the formal opening starts at 20:30, followed by the "getting acquainted" evening.
The Annual General Meeting of the Esperanto-Association of Britain will take place at 10:00 on Sunday 2006-04-30. Please bring the ballot paper which you received with EAB Update for the election of office-holders during the AGM.
The final event of the congress will be a coach excursion to Sledmere House on Monday. We will set off at 10:30, take a picnic lunch (which guests at Green Gables House will receive instead of an inclusive lunch) and will return at around 16:00. Tickets for the excursion will be available at the congress reception desk for £8.00.

La kongresaj salonoj en hotelo Green Gables estos je nia dispono ek de 17:00 vendredon. Tiam malfermiĝos ankaux la kongresa Akceptejo. Fruaj alvenantoj rajtos atendi en la hotela vestiblo. (Tiuj, kiuj mendis tranoktadon en la sama hotelo supozeble sin registros tuj post alveno kaj povos eniri senprokraste sian propran ĉambron.) Bufeda manĝo sekvos je 19:30. La solena malfermo komeniciĝos je 20:30 kun, poste, interkona vespero.
La Jarkunsido de la Esperanto-Asocio de Britio okazos 10:00 Dimanĉon 2006-04-30. Bonvolu kunporti la balotilon kiun vi ricevis kune kun EAB Update por la elekto de ofic-havantoj dum la Jarkunveno.
La lasta evento de la kongreso estos aŭtobusa ekskurso al domego Sledmere House lundon. Oni ekiros je 10:30, portos piknikan lunĉon (kiun gastoj ĉe Green Gables Hotel ricevos anstataŭ inkluzivita tagmanĝo) kaj revenos ĉirkaŭ 16:00. Biletoj haveblas ĉe la kongresa akceptejo kontraŭ £8.00.
